The Hague, Netherlands, December 10, 2007 – SES NEW SKIES, an SES company (Euronext Paris and Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG) today announces three senior appointments which establishes its new management team following the completion of all post acquisition integration activities.

Gerson Souto has been named Senior Vice President Commercial Services and will assume general responsibility for the commercial management of SES NEW SKIES existing satellite capacity and service offerings. In this role, Gerson will oversee the Marketing Communications, Business and Fleet Planning, and Spectrum/Program Management functions of the company. Gerson joins SES NEW SKIES from SES, where he was Senior Vice President Strategic Market Development, and as such intimately involved in SES geographic and services development since 1998.

Steve Collar bas been appointed Senior Vice President Market Development. Steve, who has been with the company since 1999 was instrumental in the design, configuration and procurement of four of SES NEW SKIES’ existing spacecraft and now assumes overall leadership of SES NEW SKIES’ efforts to expand its satellite and service portfolio including the design of new spacecraft and products. Steve will also oversee SES NEW SKIES’ long range strategic planning activities in close cooperation with other SES entities.

Jonas Mattsson will join SES NEW SKIES as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective January 2, 2008. Jonas has most recently been the CFO of SES SIRIUS. As a Member of the SES SIRIUS Management Team he was involved in developing the Nordic and Eastern European markets for SES SIRIUS and is well acquainted with the satellite industry as well as the SES Group. Prior to his appointment at SES SIRIUS, Jonas was employed by mobile network provider Ericsson in a variety of roles, including Business and Finance Controlling and oversaw Ericsson’s participation in various joint ventures.

These three new appointees join SES NEW SKIES veterans Scott Sprague, Senior Vice President Global Sales and Thai Rubin, Senior Vice President and General Counsel, as members of the SES NEW SKIES Management Committee.
